Program Director for Tropical Forest Conservation Program (TFCA) Vacancy
A well known, independent, non-profit, self-sustained national grant-making foundation, is now inviting professionals to apply for a full-time position as:
Program Director
for Tropical Forest Conservation Program
Responsible directly to the Administrator of Tropical Forest Conservation Program, the Program Director will direct tropical forest conservation program in Sumatera. The main responsibilities are to initiate and implement strategic programs, establish and maintain collaborative efforts with key stakeholders, and managing resources for program support.
Key qualifications:
- Possess, minimum, a post graduate degree from reputable University in Indonesia or overseas.
- Managerial skills: has at least 5 years professional experience in managing project development, in a reputable national or international non-profit organization. Experience includes in developing and recommending program rules, regulations, policies, procedures and guidelines, as well as experience on evaluating proposals.
- Has the advanced knowledge and skills to perform, direct and supervise tropical forest conservation program, especially in the region of Sumatera.
- Preferably has knowledge and understanding on economic development & policies, especially those that are related to forestry policies, as well as on local community and public services.
- Has strong communication and interpersonal skills to deal with multistakeholders both in internal and external to achieve the program goals, objectives and priorities.
- Be Proficient in Bahasa Indonesia and English both orally and in writing.
- Minimum age: 30 years old.
