In order to establish the LSPR Biodiversity Warriors network, the KEHATI Foundation and LSPR held a webinar “It’s Time for Young People to Care. Indonesian Biodiversity Matters!” on Wednesday, August 26, 2020.

In this webinar, Biodiversity Warriors friends shared about their conservation and community empowerment activities. There is Kezia Ruth who was selected to be the only CoralWatch Ambassador from Indonesia in 2018. There is also Zulfikar, who has succeeded in helping improve the lives of the people of Alue Naga Village, Banda Aceh through mangrove restoration and oyster farming. To add to the excitement, Ramon Y Tungka, a public figure as well as an activist in outdoor activities, also shared about the importance of the role of the younger generation in preserving biodiversity.
