Indonesia, has a high diversity of food, good sources of carbohydrates, vitamins and protein, but has not been used optimally. One of them is carbohydrate which is still focused on rice, while other local carbohydrate sources are almost lost. KEHATI is revitalizing its food sources and local wisdom. The KEHATI Foundation through its agricultural ecosystem program develops a source of sorghum carbohydrates and increases the added value of sustainable commodity products (organic farming) and bamboo management. In addition, new initiatives are carried out across ecosystems by way of preservation and enhancement of the people’s added value of coconuts.
